Do it with passion
Hi all!
I've been taking a deep breath before I come back to share with you what I've learnt...
It's been already three months since I started what I consider the best job position I ever had. Why? I believe that there are three key points that must be present one way or another in your job to keep your self-esteem up: Challenges, Ongoing Learning and Passion!
Challenges
Reaching a Sunday evening to plan my week tells me the level of challenge I have in my current role. It is when I discover that a new thing is coming, something I've never done before but without doubts, makes me feel more alive than ever because it pushes me to continuously re-invent myself to get ready to perform what I might have to do.
As a Social Selling Coach, you face different coaches profiles that get me to think differently, to use different ways to let them see how good the change is going to be for them. But most importantly, I open myself to different perspectives, diversifying my mindfulness.
Ongoing learning
While I am facing challenges, I am simultaneously learning on an ongoing basis. Giving food to my brain is one of those things that makes me to evolve as a person as well as a professional. As technology is constantly developing, people have to do so too. The way we interact with people, the way we sale, the way we do our tasks everyday have changed for the better. Today we have available many tools that makes our life easier. Are you going to miss that?
Leading people to the change isn't an easy task. Change means getting out of our comfort zones and, there are some cultures that don't accept it as loose as other people. Nonetheless, the reason are more than obvious. We could write pages and pages why adapting to the change benefits us. But I want you to keep something in mind, something that I've recently learnt: " the pain of the same is greater than the pay of the change". If we want to remain competitive, get results efficiently, you have to change, you have to embrace the opportunity that evolution brings you.
Passion
I feel blessed because I wake up every day and I am more than excited to experience my day because coaching people allows me to help others, to lead them to the change while I have to re-invent myself everyday to be competitive and keep bringing positive results not only to me, but also to my company and to my coachees. Their success is my satisfaction and my satisfaction is to do what I do with passion.
I want to thank Tricycle Europe to have given me the opportunity to have together those elements that I consider essential to be happy at work. Special mention to I.S. to have encouraged me again to write something, a good habit that we should all have.
