THE POWER OF OUR BRAIN´S RIGHT SIDE

Reading a chapter of a really good and famous book called “The seven habits of highly effective people” I got inspired to tell you something which may help you sooner or later in your real life, in whatever aspect of your life. As many of you know, the human being has their brains divided in two core parts: the left side, from which we come up with all the rational decisions, our analytical part; and the right side where we develop our creativity, where intuitiveness is carried out. All of us we tend to use the left one somehow more often that the right one.  Accordingly, I experienced a good technique to improve our use of the creative part. A couple of years ago, I had the pleasure and the great opportunity to work for AIESEC Seville. For those of you who do not know about the company here I attach a VIDEO that explains in an effective way what AIESEC is about. Following with the AIESEC experience, we had to watch a previous video in order to develop the techni...

Learning from unsuccessful plans

Boungiorno!! How was your week? I hope you got an excellent week and all your goals are getting achieved, when not yet, do not give up! Keep fighting to reach them all! Many things I experienced last days. First of all I could finally present with my whole team our marketing concept which was, against any prognostic, simply awesome. All my team and I did performance very well and we got a very positive point of view from our professor Mr. Schwarz. I just wanted to share with you because behind that project are many hours of working and meetings. The long-term vision almost always has a good profit. Sometimes to reach a goal we must fight for, cope with, work many hours, arguments, decisions, which leads us to walk through a path with hills and downs but nevertheless your vision and your future goal deserve it. But not always we learn from positive facts, in fact, we learn more from negative facts, which I prefer to call them unsuccessful plans (there is always a ...

A tough day

Hi everyone!! How are you doing? I hope you are facing the last month of the year with the best smile ever! Sorry for not writing in the last days... Here we go! One of the longest days since I have started the master. The whole day at the university having classes plus doing some staff deserve to be called a tough day! We started today in the very beginning of the day around 7 am with a lot of motivation to face a really long day and what is going to be the last month of 2015! A year full of experiences and stories to tell but there is not the moment right now. I can divide today in two main parts due to two different things that were remarkable for me. Talking about the first one, it was a new class of Leadership where we have learn how to manage for results. What I want to highlight from that class is that reducing costs are not necessarily to be done by firing people but there is many ways to achieve that. What about if we can eliminate waste and duplication? S...

Hi everyone! Today after "5 days off" visiting Konstanz to see people who I care, I came back to the reality again, my master. Probably you do not know but I am studying International business management master in Carinthia (Austria). As management study, today I had a very interesting master class in Leadership by Mr.Sternad (one of the best professor I ever had). The topic was learning and developing others. Many of you maybe do not know what Leadership is. We can find plenty of definitions in Internet but today I learnt one that I really liked it: "A two-way, reciprocal relationship that influences both individuals and the organisation as a whole. It is about how to build the confidence in someone´s else" So as not to get to deeply in every single detail I would like just to point out what I found more interesting and inspiring in order to improve yourself. Building confidence to others. Not everyone has self-confidence as a skill...

Hi! Hallo! Hola ! Ciao!

It is always hard to start something but you will never know until you start to do it...That is why I start this new challenge for me: write everyday what I have learnt. One day given, a friend of mine, who I met in Konstanz (Deutschland), told me that It would be interesting to write a blog to see what you are learning from life and, even more specifically according to my studies, to set apart from others. Nevertheless, I am taking this challenge personally in order to improve one of my weaknesses: "writing". Therefore, my main porpoise of this little literature is to tell you what I have learnt today from my day-a-day and what experiences I had. Thus, I can contribute to share with you my knowledge, experiences and points of views. I hope you enjoy it ! P.s.: Sorry about my way of writing if it is not good but I am spanish and English is my second language ! I will do my best
